It’s a classic country layout that challenges without overwhelming, stretching just under 6,400 yards from the tips. The front nine is more forgiving, with wider landing areas and gentle slopes that let you swing freely. The back nine tightens up considerably, featuring a series of holes that test course management—especially the closing stretch, where water and bunkers guard well-contoured greens. Ironwood’s charm comes from its balance—walkable, scenic, and well-run. The staff know their regulars, the greens roll beautifully, and the pace of play is always steady. For golfers in Huron County or those passing through, it’s a reliable, affordable round with genuine rural character.
