Mill Run’s Highland Course is one of the crown jewels of Durham Region golf. Part of a massive 45-hole facility, the Highland is the championship layout—stretching over 7,000 yards of dramatic terrain carved through forest, meadows, and rolling hills. Every hole feels like a statement piece. Fairways tilt and bend around ponds and bunkers, and elevation changes create countless risk-reward opportunities. The greens are large and fast, demanding both solid approach play and confident putting. It’s a course that rewards imagination as much as execution. The Highland regularly hosts tournaments and is known for its conditioning and balance—challenging for low handicappers but still playable from forward tees. With a full-service clubhouse, restaurant, and practice facility, Mill Run sets a high standard for public golf in Ontario.
