What Are Group Golf Deals?

Group golf deals are discounts you unlock when two or more players tee off together. Instead of each golfer paying full price, the group shares a deal – and the savings add up fast.

The most common types are 2-for-1 green fee deals (two golfers play for the price of one) and 4-for-3 foursome deals (four golfers play, only three pay). Some courses also offer flat-rate group promo rounds – think $30 per player at a course that normally charges $55.

Here’s the part most people don’t realize: only one person in your group needs a TeeTime Golf Pass. That one member books the tee time, shows their pass at check-in, and the entire group gets the discounted rate. No per-player memberships. No booking fees. Just one pass, and everybody saves.

You don't need 4 passes for a foursome. Just one.

How Group Golf Deals Work with TeeTime Golf Pass

One Pass = Whole Group Saves

TeeTime Golf Pass is built for group golf. One member holds the pass, and everyone in the group benefits. Here’s the process:

1

코스 검색

Open the TeeTime app or passbook and find courses near you with group deals.

2

Pick a Deal

Choose from 2-for-1, 4-for-3, or group promo rates – each course lists its deals clearly.

3

Book the Tee Time

Call the course or book online. Mention you’re using TeeTime Golf Pass.

4

Show & Save

Show your pass at check-in. Your entire group gets the deal. That’s it.

No booking fees. No per-player charges. No hidden costs. The pass holder handles everything, and the whole group walks away paying less.

The Math: How Much Your Group Saves

Let’s say your regular foursome plays a course that charges $60 per person. Here’s what a 2-for-1 deal looks like:

Saturday Morning Foursome - 2-for-1 Deal

Standard rate (4 players × $60)
$240
With 2-for-1 deal (2 pay, 2 free)
$120
Your group saves
$120 per round

A Midwest Pass costs $39.99. It pays for itself on the first group round – with $80 to spare.

Play that same 2-for-1 deal once a month from May through October? That’s six rounds. $720 saved on a $39.99 pass. The math isn’t close.

Types of Group Deals You'll Find

Every participating course sets its own deal type and terms. Here’s what to look for in the TeeTime app or passbook:

🤝

2-for-1 Green Fee

Two golfers play for the price of one. The most common deal type across our network – over 1,500 courses offer this.

👥

4-for-3 Foursome Deal

Four golfers play, three pay. That’s a 25% discount for every player in the group.

Group Promo Round

Special group rates – like $30 per player at a course that normally charges $50+. Great for outings and larger groups.

🌅

Twilight Group Deals

Discounted afternoon and evening rates for groups. Perfect for after-work rounds with colleagues or weekend wind-downs.

How Much TeeTime Members Save on Group Golf

We’re not the only ones doing the math. Here’s what real TeeTime members say about group golf savings:

“My regular foursome plays every Saturday. With a Midwest Pass, we’ve used 2-for-1 deals at 8 different courses this season. That’s $60 saved per round × 8 rounds = $480 saved. The pass cost $39.99. I’ll let you do the math.”

- Mike R., Columbus, OH

“I bought the Mid-Atlantic Pass for our annual golf trip – four buddies, three days, different course each day. We used 2-for-1 deals all three rounds. Saved over $300 in a single weekend on a $64.99 pass.”

- Dave T., Fairfax, VA

“I’m retired and golf 3–4 times a week with different guys. One pass and I’m the most popular guy in the group – everyone wants to play with the TeeTime guy. Easily saved $800+ this year.

- Jim K., Rochester, NY

Choose the Right Golf Pass for Your Group

The right pass depends on where your group plays. If you stick to one area, a regional pass is your best value. If your group likes to travel or plays across state lines, the Super Pass covers everything.

Quick Decision Guide

You play mostly in one region? Grab a regional pass. You get every course and every deal in your area at the lowest price point.

You travel for golf or play in multiple states? The Super Pass is the move. It covers all 1,100+ courses across every region – one pass, no limits.

Group Golf Deals FAQ

No – and this is the best part. Only one person in your group needs to be a TeeTime member. That member books the tee time and shows their pass (app or passbook) at check-in. Everyone in the group gets the discounted rate. One pass, whole group saves.

A 2-for-1 deal means two golfers play for the price of one green fee – so one of you plays free. A 4-for-3 deal means four golfers play for the price of three, which works out to a 25% discount per player. Both are great – the deal type depends on the course.

Typically, 2-for-1 deals apply to pairs (two players). For a full foursome, look for 4-for-3 deals or group promo rounds – many courses offer both. Check the specific deal terms for each course in the TeeTime app or your print passbook.

Most deals have some restrictions – common ones include weekdays only, after 12pm, or excluding holidays. Every course sets its own terms, and all restrictions are listed upfront in the TeeTime app and print passbook. No surprises at the counter.

Call the course directly or book online through their website. Mention you’re using your TeeTime Golf Pass when you book. At check-in, show your pass – either in the TeeTime app or your print passbook – and the group rate kicks in.

In most cases, TeeTime deals can’t be stacked with other discounts. But it’s always worth asking the course – some make exceptions, especially during slower periods. That said, the 2-for-1 deal alone is usually a better discount than any senior or twilight rate anyway.

Use the course search on this page (or the TeeTime app) and filter by your location and deal type. You’ll see every course with 2-for-1 deals near you, along with ratings, deal terms, and directions. You can also browse by region in the Golf Passes section.

Regional passes cover their specific states only – the Midwest Pass covers Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, for example. If you travel or play across regions, the Super Pass ($99.99) covers all 1,100+ courses in 20 states plus Ontario. One pass, everywhere.

The pass is registered to one person, but nothing stops your group from chipping in. At $39.99 for a Midwest Pass, that’s $10 each in a foursome for a full year of deals. Some groups rotate who buys each season.

Contact TeeTime support right away. Every deal is verified before it’s published. If a course isn’t honoring the listed deal, we’ll step in to resolve it – and if there’s a pattern, we remove the course from the program. We’ve been doing this for 33 years; our partners know the drill.

TeeTime partners with daily-fee public, semi-private, and resort courses. Most private clubs don’t participate – but you’d be surprised how many quality semi-private courses are in the network. Search by course name to check if your local club is included.

Most courses restrict deals on major holidays – peak demand means fewer discounts. But plenty of courses offer deals on the days around holidays. Check each course’s specific terms in the TeeTime app or passbook for blackout dates. Pro tip: the Tuesday after a holiday weekend is often the best deal day.
