At Richter Park, you'll have water to think about on 14 of the 18 holes. The front nine works its way around West Lake Reservoir, and both par 3s going out make you carry the water to reach the green. Watch for blind tee shots on 6 and 8.
Coming home, Boggs Pond runs down the right side of the par 5 12th. The 18th is more than 400 yards, and it doesn't let up until you're on the green.
Edward Ryder designed the course, and it's hosted CT Open qualifiers and American Junior Golf Association events. Cafe on the Green serves Northern Italian food with a view of the 18th green.
