Royal Hylands plays links style, out in the hills of Raintree Springs in Knightstown. It's a secluded course, and its bite is around the greens. They're undulating, the approaches into them are awkward, and your short game decides the score.
It's just off I-70 at the Knightstown exit, about 30 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, and the fairways have been bentgrass since 2000.
There's a Friday men's game and a ladies league that mixes beginners with experienced players. The club also runs open events, and you can enter even if you belong somewhere else or nowhere at all. Club fitting is done in the new facility, too.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
Same pass, more courses close by.
