Nine holes on old family farmland in Ocean View, New Jersey make up Heritage Links, a short drive from Sea Isle City, Ocean City and the Jersey Cape beaches.
The name comes from the Corson Family cemetery to the right of the green on No. 8, the longest of the par 4s at 338 yards. The course calls No. 3 its signature hole, the shortest of the par 3s at 99 to 109 yards, where an iron has to clear water and a bunker to reach a wide green that has a false front. No. 5, a par 3 with an hourglass shaped green, has given up the most aces.
There's a chipping and putting green, a professional golfer teaches lessons and clinics, and a men's league plays Wednesday nights. Groups of 12 to 44 can book an outing, with a BBQ style pavilion set aside for groups and leagues.
