In 1923 Fred Biddulph built a dance hall on the farm his grandfather owned. Golf showed up in 1928 as five holes, and the layout kept growing until it reached 18 holes in 1953. In 1994 the family sold it to the City of North Olmsted, which still runs it.
That dance hall is still there, and the ballroom now hosts events for up to 300 guests. The bar at the 19th Hole has a view of the pond and the first tee.
There's a putting and chipping green. Out on the course the ground rolls, water is in play on seven holes, and every bunker has fresh sand.
