The course was thoughtfully designed five decades ago by Buddy Loving to take advantage of the natural contours and features of Piedmont Virginia's lovely rolling landscape. Everyone is welcome to enjoy golf at Lake Monticello, for the day or all year long. Lake Monticello's 6,930-yard course features eight sets of tees. The Course offers state-of-the-art electric golf carts but walking is permitted. Tees and fairways are predominantly Bermuda grass, with bent grass greens.
