Golf doesn't stop for winter at Chris Cote's in Portland. Four climate-controlled TrackMan bays let you play more than 100 courses, in the States and overseas, or stay in practice mode and hit the same shot as many times as you like. A bay takes up to four golfers, and a foursome usually gets through nine holes in about two hours.
Chris was selling golf clubs on eBay from home, and the clubs slowly took over the house and the garage. In 2008 his wife Donna wanted to park in the garage again, so he opened a little shop on Portland's Main Street.
It's still family owned, and the Cotes do club fitting, lessons and club repair.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
Same pass, more courses close by.
