At Champions Pointe in Henryville, Indiana, a lake sits just over the hill on No. 10 and narrows the fairway, so favor the right side off the tee. No. 18 sends you home with a long approach that has to carry water.
Elsewhere, stay left center on No. 9, a 433 yard par 4 with a bunker complex down the right, and save something for the steep uphill approach on the par 5 16th.
KemperSports manages the club along with its sister course, Covered Bridge. Anyone can sit down for lunch or dinner at The Pointe Restaurant, and the Champions Room has a view of No. 9. Outings run seven days a week, and lessons are by appointment.
