Morningstar Golf Club Details
Morningstar's clubhouse was a barn first. That barn goes back to the mid 1800s, and when it was renovated, the old beams stayed. From the covered deck you can watch the first hole and the practice green.
It's an 18-hole public course on Indianapolis's far east side, open since 1991, and every hole has four sets of tees. Bunkers, water and narrow fairways are what you're up against. There are leagues and weekly scrambles, and summer junior camps.
Steven Seibel owns it and teaches there. He made the NCAA Golf Championship four years running and has been a PGA member since 1983. He also does club fitting, and there's a SkyTrak simulator for practice or a round indoors.
