Ocean Resorts belongs to a college. It opened in 2001 under private owners, who gave it to Wor-Wic Community College in 2008, and the college still owns and runs it, six miles out, west of Ocean City. Non-credit classes meet on the property.
The par 72 plays from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. No. 9 is the one to plan for: a three shot hole of 488 yards from the blues, with a swale to carry off the tee, a hidden pond short of the green and a two tiered green. No. 14 is only 130 from the blues, but its green has three levels.
For practice there's a grass driving range, a putting green, a practice bunker and a short game area. The Golf Academy runs lessons, and Fin's Fairway Cafe has an outdoor patio for a bite at the turn.
