Overlooking the historic Choptank River, the Keith Foster-designed golf course at River Marsh Golf Club has added a decidedly happier atmosphere to the grounds of what was once a mental hospital. One of the last undeveloped spots along the Choptank, with Maryland's leading Eastern Shore golf course boasts virgin forest, open fields, and untouched riverfront with views of almost a mile to the opposite shore. The green on No. 18 sits on the river and the finishing hole hugs it all the way home.
