The front and back nines feel like different courses. The front is a 1930s-style design with mature trees, roomy landing areas and smaller greens. Warner Bowen's back is longer, with bigger contoured greens, ponds and wooded, rolling ground.
No. 17 is a tight par 4 with tall trees crowding both sides of the fairway.
Leagues take Monday through Thursday. Sundays in season bring a par 3 contest with weekly closest to the pin prizes. There's a junior golf camp at Alpena Golf Club, the pro shop staff book lessons, and the Rolin Lynx Grill does a burger once you're done.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
Same pass, more courses close by.
