Fellows Creek Golf Course Details
Three nines, each with a style of its own, make up the 27 holes at Fellows Creek in Canton, and the leagues make good use of that: men, women and seniors rotate to a different nine each week.
Father and son W. Bruce Matthews and Jerry Matthews designed it. The West's 2nd is a short par 4 you can drive, 298 yards from the tips, but trees line the fairway and a creek cuts across roughly 60 yards before you reach the putting surface. The South's 9th goes the other way, an uphill par 3 to a narrow green that once made the Detroit Free Press list of Most Difficult Holes.
Audubon International certifies the course as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The Creekside Bar & Grille has a patio and 8 beers on tap.
