It was built without earth movers or bulldozers so the terrain is all natural. The front 9 is fairly flat and open while the back 9 is rolling and tree lined. The greens are on the smaller side which means shorter birdie putts. Highland Hills is not a long golf course but can be challenging for any golfer.
