We invite you to experience Lansing’s premier public golf club. College Fields opened 11 available holes in the fall of 2005 with all 18 championship holes to follow in 2006. The course was fashioned from the golden age of golf course design by David Savic (formerly of Old Course Design and now with Nicklaus Design.) Characterized by large rolling greens, impact bunkers and fairway surrounds, these 18 holes are among the most challenging and beautiful you will ever take a swing at.
With four sets of tees ranging from 5036 to 6623 yards, College Fields offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels. In addition to the course golfers have the opportunity to sharpen their skills on our practice fields which include a driving range, short game area and putting green. Surrounded by scenic farmland and abundant wildlife, you might have to share your day on the course with a wild turkey or even a prancing coyote.
We are conveniently located near both I-96 and US-127 within one mile of Michigan State University. Thank you for choosing College Fields Golf Club. We look forward to providing you with an unforgettable golf experience.
The first lesson in Golf Course Architecture 101 is that land should dictate design. So it’s no surprise that hall-of-famer Hale Irwin, one of the few players in history to win three U.S. Opens and a prodigious student of the game, would follow that rule to a “tee” at Coyote Crossing in West Lafayette, IN. The award-winning layout fits the property like a well-worn glove.
