Six holes at The Lynx run beside the Kalamazoo River in Otsego, and both nines start and finish on the highest ground on the property, about 120 feet above the water. Expect big swings in elevation and fairways framed by trees. The front nine closes on a short par 4 that climbs uphill and bends left.
No. 10 is the signature hole, a par 4 where the fairway sits 85 feet below the tee.
The Lynx Grill is in the clubhouse above the 18th green, looking out over the Kalamazoo River Valley, and you don't need to play to eat there. Men's, women's and mixed leagues run through the season. Every year the club hosts the M-89 Challenge for high school boys' and girls' teams and opens its season with the Tink, which raises money for junior golf.
