Glenbrier, a par 72 in Perry, gives its holes names, and the 14th is called Did it Go In? It's a par 3 over wetlands to a well bunkered, rolling green, and you can't see from the tee whether your shot dropped.
Watch Out for the Water, the 4th, is a dogleg left where a creek cuts across the fairway. Lay up for a middle iron, or take it on and leave yourself 50 to 70 yards. The 18th wants length and accuracy off the tee, then finishes on a severely sloping green with big spruce trees waiting for anything wayward.
The range has small target greens. Putter's Pub has a handful of beers on tap and plenty more in bottles and cans. There's a bunker room inside and a patio for sunset.
