The Bar & Grill at Timber Trace is where a day in Pinckney refuels: hot dogs, brats and cheeseburgers off the grill, chips and snacks, plus beer, wine and cocktails like the Limber Timber, made with Jameson, ginger beer and lemonade. Grab something at the turn or sit down to a family dinner. The Pro Shop carries everything from balls and tees to hats and apparel, and the staff will help you pick out gear. The clubhouse suits smaller groups of fewer than 40 people, and an outdoor tent handles family parties and picnics. Practice runs from a grass tee range with targets at full length to a chip and putt area with a bunker. It all sits beside the course Jim Dewling built in 1997 with Pat Conroy, routed through pines and hardwoods on 460 acres around Lake Wallaby.
