Bedford Hills is three nines, and each nine plays its own way. The Rocket has a reputation as the stiffest. Big oaks frame every hole, and you'll need to move the ball both ways.
The Wolverine feels more like a links, with rolling fairways, well guarded greens and water on several holes. The Buckeye balances scoring chances and challenge: many holes are straightforward and open, others need accuracy.
Four sets of tees keep it playable for newer golfers. Leagues rotate across all three nines rather than the same nine week after week, and the clubhouse is roomy for afterward.
There's a big range with putting and chipping greens, plus Bedrock Mini Golf and a picnic area. The club sits in Temperance, Michigan, just across the state line.
