Pine View's Championship course changes character at the turn. The front nine, Open Pines, gives you wide fairways and some tough greens. Then Rolling Pines takes over, and white pines line the edges of a lot of the holes. Water barely comes into it.
Harley Hodges designed the course in 1989. It's in Ypsilanti, close to Ann Arbor, and the grounds also hold the Little Pine Nine, a par 30 executive course with junior tees that doubles as the Foot Golf layout. Both courses host weekday leagues, and Huron Valley Women's Golf Club plays one of its leagues here.
The range is real grass, with a practice bunker and two putting greens.
