From the high points at Lane Tree you can see the entire course. It's hilly ground beside the Little River in Goldsboro, and John LaFoy designed it, with tees from 5,200 yards to nearly 7,000. The wetlands here are home to blue herons, geese and ducks.
Tuesdays bring Team it up Tuesday, a nine-hole team game, with Burger Night alongside. Teams get drawn at random each week, and the format moves around: it might be the front nine, the back nine, a scramble, or all holes played as par 3s.
