The Rip is a nine-hole Donald Ross design in Palenville, and the Smith family has owned and run it for over three generations. The club's tavern serves dinner.
It's open to everyone, every day, and Catskill, Hunter, Saugerties and Woodstock are each about 10 minutes away.
It plays with alternating tees, so the back nine isn't the front over again. The fairways roll, but they're easy to walk, and you get the views along with them.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
Same pass, more courses close by.
