The nines at Cossett Creek don't ask the same thing. The front is the more open half. The back is where you'll need to think your way around and keep it straight. On both, the creek winds through, with lakes and bunkers to steer clear of.
The name is newer than the course. It opened in Brunswick as Bramblewood in 1965 and kept the Brunswick Hills Golf Club name until 2013. New owners have been fixing it up.
It doesn't shut down for winter, either. Whenever the weather and the course can safely handle play, it opens, and that call gets made day by day.
