Back in 1967, Tanglewood was among the first courses in the country built with lady's tees. William F. Mitchell routed it over the hills of Chagrin Falls' Tanglewood Lake Development.
Bunkers, big lakes and tree-lined fairways make you work for it, and both PGA and LPGA tour events have been played here.
Practice doesn't stop for winter, with two TrackMan units indoors all year and putting greens inside and out. Leagues cover veterans, seniors, ladies and a Tuesday night crowd. Coming up on the 9th or 18th tee, you can order a burger from The Drey right from your cart.
