Walter Gretzky's name is on Brantford's municipal course, and it's billed as a learning centre too. The head pro's record backs that up. Jeff Moore, the City of Brantford's CPGA Head Professional, was named the Ontario PGA's Junior Leader of the Year in 2011, then again in 2019. Lessons come private, semi-private or in groups.
The course itself is 18 holes of contoured fairways and big greens. The clubhouse was rebuilt in 2020, and its hall takes up to 150 for a wedding or a tournament dinner. Wally's Grill and Patio feeds the general public as well as golfers.
