Wolf Run says its golf is driven by fun, and the layout backs that up. The fairways forgive a loose drive, and around the greens you're free to keep it low and bump it on. It's been open since 1991 in Janetville, right beside Lake Scugog in the Kawartha Lakes region.
There are ladies' and men's leagues midweek. The Wolf Den restaurant does sit-down and takeout, and there's a timber-kit pavilion for events.
The Bunker, an indoor simulator, keeps going through the winter. And the Stay N' Play is a four bedroom house on Pigeon Creek, a few minutes from the course, that sleeps up to 10.
