Arnold Palmer designed the original nine holes at this public 18 in Central City. The club says it was the very first course he ever designed, and those holes opened in 1967.
The members voted in 1994 to add a second nine, and the club says it blends right in with Arnie's. The greens roll, the fairways run between trees, and you'll see a lot of wildlife. The rustic clubhouse dates to 1983 and was built to fit into the woods around it.
Indian Lake Borough owns it, and Northwinds Golf Club runs it.
