Victory Hills opened on May 13th, 1955 as 7 Springs Golf Course. Ed Rack and Bill Sullivan laid out the 18 holes between them, and the Rack family has run the place ever since. The new name came in 2015 to avoid confusion with Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Ed could play: at an exhibition at the Yough he shot 69 to Arnold Palmer's 71.
It's a public course in Elizabeth Township, about 20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, with watered tees, fairways and greens. The card makes it a par 71 of 6,141 yards from the Blue tees and gives the 1 handicap to No. 8, a 464-yard par 5 from the Blues. Hit it over the range fence there and you're out of bounds.
There's a driving range, a restaurant and a bar. Leagues play 9 or 18 holes, and outings use the air conditioned banquet room.
