The Bear Trace sits just south of I-40 in Crossville, between Nashville and Knoxville. Jack Nicklaus designed it around what Cumberland Mountain State Park already had: changes in elevation, flowing brooks and clusters of mature pines.
The back tees carry the Nicklaus name, and the course pairs Bermuda fairways with bentgrass greens.
