Tim White has run the golf here as head pro since 1999. The Richmond native won the 1987 Virginia State Open at Brandermill Country Club, and in 2016 Longwood University put him in its Sports Hall of Fame. He gives private and group lessons, and he especially enjoys bringing new players into the game.
Brian Tuck and Ault Clark designed the 18 holes at Lake Chesdin over rolling ground, with woodland as the backdrop. It's Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens, and from the gold tees it stretches to 6,951 yards.
Benny's on the Green is the restaurant and bar in the Chesdin Landing Clubhouse. The men's and women's leagues are social, and they're open to non-members too.
