Tidal marsh runs along the fairways at Riverfront, a Tom Doak design. Pines, oaks and sycamores hang out over the marsh. Every hole but three has a natural feature down one side, whether that's marsh or a green right at the water's edge with beach bunkers around it.
Off the tee it's friendly. Most tees sit at ground level and the fairways are mostly wide. The work starts closer in, where big, deep bunkers, rolling greens and plenty of chipping areas make you pick your shots.
The range tee is all natural turf, so you'll never hit off a mat, and the short game area has two practice bunkers. There's a cafe, and a PGA instructor gives lessons by appointment.
