Cypress Point is set in a quiet golf-club community in Virginia Beach that adjoins Lake Lawson and Lake Smith. It's semi-private, and the public can book tee times too.
The club was established in 1987, and its 18 hole championship course plays over gently rolling ground, with Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens. Stretched all the way back, it measures 6,541 yards.
The Cypress Bar & Grill is open from breakfast through dinner. Matt Watson, a PGA professional, gives lessons.
