The course at Colonial Terrace dates back to 1920. The township bought it, restored it and opened it to the public in May 2008. In 2016 it took the name of William F. Larkin, the former mayor who led the push to make it a public space.

Rob Connelley, who has coached for more than 25 years, uses V1 video. There are classes for adults, from Golf 101 to a short game class, and after-school golf for juniors, who also get their own spring and fall championships.
