Rancocas details

Designed in 1966 by prolific golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Rancocas Golf Club was named after a local Native American tribe. The 6,602-yard course is strategically incorporated within the landscape to preserve the area’s natural beauty throughout the course design. The front and back nines feature distinctly different characteristics—the front nine is thoroughly-bunkered, while the back nine is settled amid tree-lined fairways and rolling hills. The signature thirteenth hole at Rancocas Golf Club is a 568-yard par 5 with a double dogleg uphill to a green guarded by bunkers on all sides. With over 90 bunkers and a mix of Bent and Poa greens, this course offers unforgettable rounds and an exceptional golf experience.

Ohio State Parks and Great Lodges have some awesome golf courses that really show off Ohio’s natural beauty, and each one brings something unique to the table. We experienced this firsthand this past summer at our annual sales rep meeting at Maumee Bay. I got to play the course twice, and on the first day, the wind coming off Lake Erie was a 3-club wind, making for a very interesting round! 120 yards in? Can
