How to Nominate
Nominating your group leader takes two minutes. Tell us who they are, what they do, and why they deserve to win. The more people from your group who nominate, the better their chances — so rally the crew.
Whether your group is 4 golfers or 40, your leader deserves to be recognized. Group size doesn’t determine who wins. The best stories do.

This year, Your Group Decides
In Year 3, we’re doing things differently. No more random draws. This time, the best story wins — and your group gets to vote.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Nominate (April 7 – July 20)
Nominate your group leader. Encourage your whole group to submit their own nominations — the more voices, the stronger the case.
Step 2: Top 10 Revealed (July 24)
Finalists are selected based on the strength of the nomination write-up (this carries the most weight), the percentage of the group that stepped up to nominate, years of leadership, and whether the leader has been nominated in previous years. A group of 8 where 5 people nominate shows just as much love as a group of 50 — group size doesn’t determine who wins.
- Step 3: Vote (July 24 – August 27)
- The Top 10 finalists are announced publicly. Then it’s up to you. One email, one vote. Share the voting link with your group, your golf buddies, your whole foursome’s extended family — rally the votes and crown your leader.
- Step 4: Winner Announced (August 28)
- One winner. Announced in our newsletter, on social, and right here on this page.

Who can be nominated?
Any group golf leader who has organized outings in the past year. Size of group doesn’t matter!
When will the 2026 Group Golf Leader Awards open?
The 2026 Awards will open in May 2026. Make sure you join our newsletter mailing list to get a reminder about the launch date.
Can I nominate someone more than once?
Each unique email submission counts as one entry. Encourage your group members to submit their own nominations!
How will the winner be chosen?
The grand prize winner will be selected through a random draw from all unique submissions.
When will the winner be chosen?
The winner will be selected on August 27th and contacted directly. All winners will be announced in our weekly newsletter on Friday August 29th.
