Aquarina's course sits in a national wildlife refuge named for Archie Carr, and the club says you can spot sea turtles, osprey, otters and bobcats on or near it. The public par 62 runs between the Atlantic dunes and the Indian River, past live oaks and sabal palms, through mangrove marsh and around eleven lakes. It's Audubon International certified, too.
Anyone can eat at the Aqua Bar & Grill, and its patio faces the first fairway.
Charles Ankrom designed it, with plenty of sand and water in play. Aquarina hosts Tee it Forward, the PGA/USGA program, and you can get around in under three and a half hours.
