Richland saves its showpiece for the 15th, a 185-yard par 3 to an island green. The course sits in Frederick County's Middletown Valley, with the Catoctin Mountain range filling the view.
Rick Jacobson designed the course, and it went by Hollow Creek Golf Club until the Richland name arrived in 2015. Water's in play on six holes, and it's bent grass from tee to green. There are 62 bunkers too, so the water isn't the only thing to steer around. Valley Sports Grill does burgers and wings, with seats inside and out.
