There's an island green out on the range at Olney Golf Park. It's one of five bent grass target greens, with shorter targets out front and the distances lasered.
You hit from two tiers of covered bays that are lit and heated, set along an elliptical tee line so you can practice from different angles, and you're hitting TaylorMade balls.
Down where the tee line ends is the teaching studio, home base for the Performance Golf Academy. Its two bays open onto the range, and the PGA and LPGA instructors use V1 video to show you your swing. If the teaching staff doesn't use a training aid, the shop won't carry it.
Olney Golf Park is also home to the Salute Military Golf Association, which gets post-9/11 wounded veterans out playing golf.
