Where the Chester River runs into the Chesapeake Bay, the River Course follows the shoreline and cuts through wooded marshland, with water in view on over half the course. Tree-lined fairways trade off with open, links-style holes. Joel Weiman led a bunker renovation in 2025, and the bunkers now hold high-flash white sand.
Keep an eye out on the way round: whitetail deer and red foxes cross the property, and osprey work the shoreline.
Leagues fill the week, with a senior men's league for players 60 and over on Mondays, ladies on Tuesdays, men on Wednesdays and a mixed league on Thursdays. For a golf trip, Queenstown Harbor has three cottages on site, each with a covered porch over River No. 2, and the Chester Cottage sleeps up to 20.
