Kensington opened in 1961, the Metroparks' first regulation golf course. Hugh Lamley designed it, a par 71 inside the park near Brighton with open fairways and greens that play soft.
From the blue tees, No. 17 measures 415 yards, a par 4. No. 8, a par 3, has you carrying water. Once you make the turn, Kent Lake is in view.
There's a practice putting green, and the grill handles food and drinks. Power carts, pull carts and rental clubs are all on hand. Leagues and outings can reach the course to get set up.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
