Three nines make up the 27 holes at Mystic Creek. The Lakes winds around five lakes, and eight of the nine holes have water on them. On No. 8 you carry the water off the tee and you're still only halfway there. The Meadows twists through ponds and bunkers, and its par 3 No. 4 crosses Mystic Creek itself to a green that tilts hard toward the creek. The Woods is cut from hardwoods and hilly ground at the northeast end of Camp Dearborn.
Next door, the Mystic Creek Golf Learning Center has a practice area open to the public, with bunkers, chipping areas, practice greens and several teeing areas, plus PGA lessons. Pub 28 opens to the public, the Banquet Center hosts outings and weddings, and you can book a night in the Chalet and make a trip of it.
