There are two par 5s on Stone Dock's nine holes. It sits on 68 acres in High Falls, a Hudson River Valley hamlet under two hours from New York City.
Francis and Jennifer O'Donnell bought the course in 2021 and changed how it's cared for. The turf gets organic fertilizer and no pesticides. They've planted over 1,000 trees and shrubs, which help hold the soil in the floodplain.
Francis farmed for years, and as superintendent he's put flowers out by the entrance, on the tees and around the pro shop. Those displays fill in as the season goes on.
