Grand Valley Golf & Country Club details

Grand Valley Golf & Country Club has that classic “hidden gem” feel - tucked just outside Cambridge but close enough to the city to be convenient. Originally built as a 9-hole course in the early 1980s and expanded to 18 shortly after, it’s now a well-established par-70 that plays just over 5,400 yards from the back tees. The course routing makes smart use of the natural landscape. The front nine winds through mature trees with narrower fairways and smaller greens that test accuracy. The back nine opens up, offering wider landing zones and a few tempting par 5s where big hitters can go for broke. It’s a layout that rewards shot planning more than sheer power. What stands out most is how friendly and playable it feels for every type of golfer. Beginners will find plenty of forgiveness, while experienced players will notice how strategic the design becomes once they’ve played it a few times. The greens are quick but fair, the pace of play stays reasonable, and the entire property has a relaxed, country-club charm. Off the course, you’ll find a full-service restaurant, banquet hall, and patio overlooking the finishing holes - perfect for events, leagues, or post-round meals. Grand Valley manages to combine quality golf, community feel, and great value in one spot.
