Cayuga Golf Club has that “hidden gem” quality that makes you wonder how more people haven’t found it. Set in Haldimand County’s countryside, it’s a beautifully balanced 18-hole course that rewards smart play, not just power.
The front nine eases you in with rolling fairways and open landing areas. The back nine tightens up, framed by trees and small ponds that start to dictate shot choices. The greens are true and quick, sloping just enough to test your short game without feeling tricked up.
One of Cayuga’s strengths is its flow - holes feel connected, and the routing keeps you engaged from start to finish. Each par 3 has its own identity, and the par 5s deliver real scoring opportunities if you play them with discipline.
Off the course, you’ll find a relaxed, unpretentious clubhouse and a team that runs the place with genuine care. Locals treat it as their home course for a reason - it’s affordable, consistent, and always in good shape.
Cayuga Golf Club is small-town Ontario golf at its best: honest, scenic, and satisfying for every skill level.
