Matt Fair learned golf at Crestwood playing alongside his father, and Ashley Fair picked up her first club here. Now they own the place, and their own kids will learn the game on these same nine holes.
Crestwood has been open since 1969. The Grant family looked after it for over two decades, and it became known as an approachable spot where beginners, families and league players came back year after year. The Fairs want to keep that feeling, with a few new touches along the way.
It's a nine-hole hybrid layout with double tees, and you can walk it. There are weekday leagues, including the Over Forty's League for anyone 40 and up. If you're newer to the game, the Monday night clinic works on a specific skill as a group, then sends everyone out to play.
