Max Mesing won the West Penn Open, qualified for the 1999 US Senior Open, and the Tri-State PGA inducted him into its Hall of Fame. In 1984 he bought the old Palisades Golf Course on River Road in Beaver Falls, renamed it Fox Run, and opened it as a public course. He managed the club for more than thirty years, and PGA Junior Championships have often been held here.
The Stroupes, another local family, bought Fox Run in 2024.
You can play 9 or 18, walking or riding. There's FlingGolf too: a single FlingStick, and you throw the ball instead of hitting it.
