The Ambassador is the shorter of Hickory Valley's two courses, but the club warns that No. 9 and No. 13 are where plenty of good rounds have gone sideways. The par 5 ninth is the hardest of the lot.
These holes go back a long way. They were among the original 27 that opened in 1968, and they became the Ambassador in 1996. The routing winds through hardwoods 70 feet tall, and the greens tilt from back to front.
