The 7th at Pocono Manor is a par 3 of just 77 yards, and it runs straight downhill the whole way. Arnold Palmer made double bogey there in 1968.
Donald Ross drew the first nine holes in 1911, and they opened in 1912. In the early 1920s William Flynn added ten holes across Route 314, Nos. 7 through 16. It's an old-school course with mountain views and some quirky par 3s. There's even a three-hole loop next to the range, handy before or after your round.
Art Wall Jr. was Pocono Manor's touring professional, and in 1959, playing for The Manor, he won the Masters. His son Greg Wall became Head Golf Professional in 1984 and is now the PGA Director of Golf.
